Two Convenient Locations

50 Years & Still Strong!

In 1959, the Fry Family opened its service bay doors to the motoring public of Johnson County, Kansas and south Kansas City, Missouri. The facility was a conventional, three stall Standard Oil service station with red, white, and gold crowned gasoline dispensers. It was on the southwestern corner of the new Ranch Mart Shopping Center, and was the primary location for 30 years.

Roads to the south were practically non-existent, and gravel, two lane to the west. Other retail, traffic, trees and population were sparse. Yet a tradition began that continues to this date: CUSTOMERS RECEIVE THE MOST RELIABLE AND REASONABLE AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS AND SERVICE AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET PLACE.

Fry's Car Care still continues now at two Overland Park locations: 9535 Nall Avenue and 95th & Mission Road in the recently remodeled Ranch Mart Shopping Center.

Certainly 50 years ago, vehicles were not engineered with the complexity relative to those of current day. Thus, the Fry's technicians must be and are knowledgeable of the mechanical workings of domestic, Asian and European models. They are highly trained and certified electricians and are very computer literate. Combined with sophisticated diagnostic equipment, and you are in 'good hands'.

Fry's locations are affiliated Michelin, BF Goodrich, Uniroyal, and Yokohama tire dealers, and you will see via this site many other manufacturers' brands are available at competitive prices. Both are also NAPA Car Care and Mobil Express 1 Lube operations.
